Distinguished Office Buildings

What are distinguished office buildings?

Many of us rush through the work week with little time to admire the architectural gems that define the skyline, or the elegant lobby that make a building memorable, or the solicitous concierge that whispers “you are special”. These are some of the components that identify distinguished office buildings.

According to Costar, the Commercial Real Estate Information Company, there are 3,893 office buildings in NYC with 554,890,661 square feet of space. The vast majority of these are mundane and  facsimiles of others of similar vintage. As this blog evolves I will point out what in my opinon denotes distinguished office buildings.
